The Lumbrook Solid Oak bed is one of our inspirational designs that derive from the ever popular Japanese style platform beds. The Lumbrook Bed is ideal for use as a daily bed or for any guest room.

The Lumbrook Oak bed is part of our portfolio of stylish contemporary platform beds.

The Lumbrook design features a headboard and footboard integrated within the bed frame to make a Japanese style platform bed of the highest quality.

The Measurement to the top of the bed slats is 170mm

The Measurement from the floor to the top of the headboard is 580mm

Material Used

The Lumbrook Solid Oak Bed is made using the finest European kiln Dried Oak.

Oak is one of the most popular woods for making high quality wooden beds, this is due to the characters associated with Oak. The Strength, durability and beauty created by nature makes Oak an wood for high quality wooden beds.

We use the finest European Oak when manufacturing our solid Oak beds. We do not use Veneers or laminates. The Oak bed is finished using Danish oil to seal the wood for a long lasting finish.

Assembly

We know that for many people assembling furniture items can be very difficult and time consuming/

We have looked at this aspect at the design stage of our oak beds. All our beds come partly assembled. The headboard and footboard come fully assembled. You simply need to attach the side rails and Centre rail and lay on the bed slats to complete your bed.

We provide all the components needed for this and full instructions and how to put the bed together.

The assembly time for our Oak beds is approximately 20 minutes.

Single (3ft x 1900mm)

Small Double (4ft x 1900mm)
Double (4ft6 x 1900mm)
King (5ft x 2000mm)
Super King (6ft x 2000mm)

We also offer a bespoke/custom service and can manufacture the bed in your requested size.

Bed Slats 
The Lumbrook Solid Oak bed is available with various Slat options.

Pine Bed Slats

First Generation Slatted Bed Base
Second Generation Slatted Bed Base

The Oak bed is manufactured to the highest standard and we recommend to go for either the First or Second Generation slatted bed base.

The Slatted bed bases are by far more superior then the Pine bed slats and are made from the best bed components from Europe. The Slatted Bed bases are made using quality Solid Beech Bed slats and are ideal for use with most high end mattresses.

Headboards

You are able to choose the approximate height of your mattress allowing us to set the height of the headboard.

You are able to choose from 8", 9" or 10" and custom heights are also available. Please contact us for further details
