The Lancaster Solid Oak Bed is part of our stylish collection of hand crafted Solid Oak Beds. The Lancaster Solid Oak Bed is suitable for use as a daily bed and can also be used a guest bed.
The Lancaster Solid Oak bed is a fantastic modern looking Oak bed with rectangular shaped legs and an Integrated Upholstered Headboard. This is one of our unique designs that incorporates the headboard within the bed frame.
The headboard is available in a range of 7 types of fabrics in over 100 colors. Please feel free to request samples of the fabrics.
The Measurement to the top of the bed slats is 290mm
Material Used
The Lancaster Solid Oak Bed is made using the finest European kiln Dried Oak.
Oak is one of the most popular woods for making high quality wooden beds, this is due to the characters associated with Oak. The Strength, durability and beauty created by nature makes Oak an ideal wood for making high quality wooden beds.
We use the finest European Oak when manufacturing our solid Oak beds. We do not use Veneers or laminates. The Oak bed is finished using Danish oil to seal the wood for a long lasting finish.
Assembly
We know that for many people assembling furniture items can be very difficult and time consuming/
We have looked at this aspect at the design stage of our oak beds. All our beds come partly assembled. The headboard and footboard come fully assembled. You simply need to attach the side rails and Centre rail and lay on the bed slats to complete your bed.
We provide all the components needed for this and full instructions and how to put the bed together.
The assembly time for our Oak beds is approximately 20 minutes.

Bed Slats
The Lancaster Solid Oak bed is available with various Slat options.
Pine Bed Slats
First Generation Slatted Bed Base
Second Generation Slatted Bed Base
The Oak bed is manufactured to the highest standard and we recommend to go for either the First or Second Generation slatted bed base.
The Slatted bed bases are by far more superior then the Pine bed slats and are made from the best bed components from Europe. The Slatted Bed bases are made using quality Solid Beech Bed slats and are ideal for use with most high end mattresses.
Headboards
The headboard is integrated within the bed frame.
We also ask you to select the approxamate height of your mattress which allows us to set the height of the headboard so the mattress fits perfectly onto the bed frame.
