The Heaton Oak bed is one of our premium designs and is ideal for use as a daily bed. This design will look great in any bedroom.The Heaton Solid Oak bed works really well with higher wall mounted headboards.
The Legs and Side Rails of The Heaton Solid Oak Bed are thicker then all our other Oak Beds. We use premium 120mm Wide Solid Oak for the Legs and Side Rails that gives an impressive finish.The Measurement to the top on the bed slats is 290mm
Material Used
The Parkhurst Solid Oak Bed is made using the finest European kiln Dried Oak.
Oak is one of the most popular woods for making high quality wooden beds, this is due to the characters associated with Oak. The Strength, durability and beauty created by nature makes Oak an wood for high quality wooden beds.
We use the finest European Oak when manufacturing our solid Oak beds. We do not use Veneers or laminates. The Oak bed is finished using Danish oil to seal the wood for a long lasting finish.
Assembly
We know that for many people assembling furniture items can be very difficult and time consuming/
We have looked at this aspect at the design stage of our oak beds. All our beds come partly assembled. The headboard and footboard come fully assembled. You simply need to attach the side rails and Centre rail and lay on the bed slats to complete your bed.
We provide all the components needed for this and full instructions and how to put the bed together.
The assembly time for our Oak beds is approximately 20 minutes.

We also offer a bespoke/custom service and can manufacture the bed in your requested size.
Bed Slats
The Heaton Solid Oak bed is available with various Slat options.
Pine Bed Slats
First Generation Slatted Bed Base
Second Generation Slatted Bed Base
The Oak bed is manufactured to the highest standard and we recommend to go for either the First or Second Generation slatted bed base.
The Slatted bed bases are by far more superior then the Pine bed slats and are made from the best bed components from Europe. The Slatted Bed bases are made using quality Solid Beech Bed slats and are ideal for use with most high end mattresses.
Headboards
This bed is ideally designed to be used with our wall mounted upholstered headboards
The bed bolts for the headboards struts will also be allocated on the on the rear of the bed if you wish to attach a headboard to the back of the bed.
